Brand Partnership Manager

Our brand partnerships help us deliver on these commitments, and we are looking for a Brand Partnership Activation Manager to help us activate our brand partnerships to build brand affinity, reach new audiences, bring distinctive member experiences to our members, our clubs and give back to our communities.
As our Brand Partnership Activation Manager, you will be integral in driving and delivering these efforts. You will cultivate relationships with our partners, ensure we are maximizing the partnerships across KPIs, oversee the execution of deliverables and activations of our sponsorhips, deliver member experiences in collaboration with our partners, and support in managing the execution of partnerships.
The ideal candidate is an innovative, detail oriented marketer with a strong consumer-centric approach and proven track record activating sponsorships or partnerships. They excel in cultivating relationships, developing impactful partner marketing programs and delivering results. They've been successful driving brand equity while delivering business results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day partnership management efforts including partner relationship management, marketing programs, onboarding partners, partner profiles and data base management, monthly and quarterly reporting and recaps, and internal and partner facing communications.
- Ensure each contract's opportunities are maximized for the partnership based on your detailed knowledge of each contract and partner's priorities.
- Lead and deliver on partnership asset and experience commitments in accordance with contracts and/or agreements.
- Identify, develop and manage activation plans with key partners based on business and brand priorities and contractual/partnership opportunities. This may include onsite events at sports venues, in-club experiences or work outs, content opportunities, etc...
- Manage partner assets and content with internal and external partners, overseeing objectives, strategies and planning to ensure maximum brand impact in venue, or prospect impact with campaigns, assets are aligned with brand standards, and on budget and on time delivery.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting that highlights and details partnership activations, KPIs, and key learnings.
- Support prospecting of new partners as needed based on business and brand priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years experience:
- Partnership or Sponsorship marketing and activations at or with sports teams
- Working with partners, vendors, agencies
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective client-facing interactions.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to manage logistics efficiently.
- Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote) for creating engaging recaps.
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and clarity in all communications.
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving company and partner needs and preferences.
- Ability to negotiate terms and agreements with partners to ensure mutual benefit and alignment with company goals.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of partnership initiatives and inform future strategies.
- Strong budget management and forecasting
- Self-directed and results-oriented.
- Excellent project management skills and acute attention to details
- Experience using project management software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest and passion in health and fitness and sports
Travel and Location Requirements
- Ability to travel to 15 - 25% of the time for events, club visits and hybrid team meetings and some evenings/weekends for events
- Prefer candidate to be located in Southern California based on proximity to partnerships
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
The Manager of Brand Partnership Activation will report to the Director of Partnerships & Brand Marketing. This role works with our brand partners, across our marketing and digital teams, as well as field and corporate leadership.
